Another great December read⭐️
This is my second encounter reading the amazing work of Dr. Okorafor.The Akata Witch was a phenomenal read. Full of culture, diversity, religious/ spirituality of African & various tribes of Nigeria, and those the African Dispora. The magic system was crafted well, original, and story packed with adventure.
I love that one of the Oha Coven members was named " Sasha" & Sasha was also American--- so yall I was part of the story🤣.
And, Now I want a spirit face 🙋🏾♀️
We follow the journey of Sunny a Nigerian -American girl, who is Albino and returns to her families native land. Here she discovers she is part of magical folk called the Leopard people. She encounters fellow youngster and goes set on saving the world from Black Hat. All I say is read this story and enjoy the magic that is various rays of melanin🤎

The fact-- there are bold folks out here suggestions this is similar to Harry Potter are not only being disrespectful,but attempting to take way the originality of this African-Inspired Fantasy.
