This book was just what I needed, although I didn't know it until I read it.

If you've read any other books by Seth Godin, this one is formatted similarly - short chapters packed with heavy insights. It's short, yes. But you can (and in my opinion should) take a long time to read it. This is the kind of stuff that hits you later when you've had a chance to think about it.

Linchpin is kind of a call to revolution- and a grave prediction of things to come if you don't step it up and get into the revolution already. It describes a new way of thinking about work, jobs, education, and how you value what you do. Like, *really* do, not your job which are two different things.

For me, this book was a bit of preaching to the choir (I'm already there, Seth) and a bit of facing some harsh truths (you caught me Seth, I spend a lot of time avoiding doing hard stuff by disguising it as work).

Recommended for people who are ready to shake up their job, their life, and their passions in a good way (notice it's not an *easy* way).
