I originally had this book in my do not read pile due to my lack of comfort with the original material (not that into Star Wars fanfiction), but I was beyond wrong. I finished this book in a day and found it very easy to disregard any character similarities to Star Wars and ended up loving it! I would say towards the end it felt a little rushed and unpolished, but the amazing build up and steamy scenes more than makes up for it.
