...I didn't like it at all. It's obviously made with great care, but I didn't find the tale to be scary - just extremely disturbing in a way that left me sick to my stomach. My personal enjoyment of this graphic novel was so nonexistent that I can't rate it any higher than two stars.
Besides, Shuichi had the right idea on page 14 of this 600+ page monstrosity. They should have left town the moment all that weird crap started happening, when they probably still could have. There was zero excuse for not getting the hell out after the thing with the kiln. Stay in a place like that, you deserve what you get.

Graphic: Body horror, Death, Gore, Panic attacks/disorders, Self harm, Violence, Cannibalism, Death of parent, Schizophrenia/Psychosis , Fire/Fire injury, and Injury/Injury detail
