When a major character died in the twentieth episode I had to pause for seven minutes while it sat there in the feed doing the bot equivalent of staring at a wall.

Artificial Condition follows Murderbot as it goes to look for clues from it's erased memory to reconstruct the past. Along the way it meets ART—an absolute gem of a character with a unique and charming bond with Murderbot. Despite how much ART and Murderbot's relationship shines and provides numerous laughs, the action (and human characters) of this particular novella is rather forgettable compared to the rest of the series.
