I really wanted to like Emma.
But I just couldn't get past her obsession with the "perfection" of her suitor of choice. She just annoyed me with her downright shallowness.
On the other hand, Mitchell was fabulous. <3 He saved the book.
I think Rose is my favorite though. I'm very curious to read her story...
You do NOT need to read the first book in the series. This one is 100% stand alone.
