Shameless King is a sports/frenemies to lovers romance and it's my first read by Maya Hughes.
It was amazing! I absolutely loved this book!
Declan and Mak have knowing each other since high school and their chemistry is off the freaking charts!!
Mak is so focused on getting good grades that she does nothing for herself. In highschool Mak was known as the ice queen because she didn't party and date like the rest of her friends.
Declan is just focused on hockey.
He is king on and off the ice.
But he has to re-take a class that he was failing and who is his partner for the assignments for the rest of the semester??? Mak! Oh gah if I say anything else I will give the story away and nobody likes that make spoilers!
