The Waves by Virginia Woolf
4.0

virginia woolf's writing will always leave me speechless. from the moment i first read her words and thoughts, i fell completely in love with her art. all the sentiment portrayed in those pages made me question whether or not i was still the same sane, passionate, reader that decided to pick up that exact book hours ago.

the waves was like an early sunrise in august. like the sound of waves unravelling on the shore. a bird humming in the middle of the night.
it was a new perspective of the world we live in. hope, if we must describe it, in one of its most depressive forms.
a warm hug that says that everything is going to be alright, while at the same time making sure that your life will never stay the same.
