Olivia Hayle never disappoints!

Nate and Harper had such a comfortable relationship that never felt forced, even when Nate was trying to hide his feelings. The bond they formed was slow and sweet and sometimes even funny.

I loved watching Harper grow more confident in herself and in her decisions in life. Finding what she truly liked and not letting others influence her decisions. It feels like we tend to want to please those around us, sometimes to the point of losing ourselves, so her character really spoke to me.

Nate was the perfect pining love interest! He was kind, patient, and protective, even when he kept his distance from Harper out of respect. Truly one of my favorite MMCs.

Except for a somewhat awkwardly paced beginning, I loved this book, and I cannot wait for the next book that comes out of this author's mind!

If you're looking for a romance book with a pining MMC who falls first (with spice!), then I would definitely recommend this book!
