Isn't It Bromantic? by Lyssa Kay Adams
3.0

"We always run for grand gesture."

TLDR: This is the second best book in the series, in my opinion. If you liked the others, you'll like this.

I love the premise of this whole series. The idea of men reading romance novels to better understand their relationships and women is just delightful. This book has a lot of "play within a play" and mild "breaking the fourth wall" elements. I enjoyed this so much. There is a part of the book where they're discussing romance tropes and typical things that happen in a romance novels that just tickle me as someone who reads a lot of romance. This is a second chance romance. I felt that it was the most lighthearted of all of the books. There are definitely some sticky things that our characters have to work through but overall the tone of this one just felt lighter to me. I love that this series is often focusing on improving or saving relationships that already exist rather than us watching the beginning of a relationship unfold. I recommend them. These books are a good time.

I listened to this book. Andrew Eiden is a fabulous narrator!
