 sally rooney has me in a chokehold. her candid writing and quiet observations of normal life is beautiful and i literally had to get normal people after finishing this. her characters are real, they're not good nor inherently bad people and seeing their interpersonal relationships is so fascinating. its vulnerable, honest and a depiction of a real life. i need more of this woman's work now.
