I surprised myself with this one. I went into thinking it was going to be extremely meh. And then in the first few chapters I was disturbed - to say the least. But I wound up enjoying myself.
Sure the little twist at the end felt a bit too fantastical to me, but overall the story was an enjoyable one. Lots of the pieces throughout were tied up neatly with a bow - no loose ends, which we love.
For those about to dive in, it's everything that you expect and nothing like it, all at the same time. Don't know what I mean? Best just get cracking and dive in for yourself!
