At first, I really don't have the intention to pick up the Bridgerton series because I was not interested in it, even the Netflix show. But I was low on options so I decided to pick this up instead and that, I didn't regret it.
The book really did grapple me with its own complex shine. The story was such an interesting thing to read and the way Anthony and Kate's bantering and their tension with each other made me want to threw myself against the wall. And after reading the book, I felt very happy by the ending then I became depressed because I will never get to feel the same shit that Anthony and Kate have for each other.
But there are some scenes in the book made me drop the rating from 4.75 to a 4.00 star but overall, I enjoyed the book so much.
