A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas
4.0
didn't know what i was doing or why i was here, but glad i came
okay, I was pleasantly surprised by this! some people utterly adore this book, others completely hate it but either way, there has been an incredible amount of hype surrounding this series for years and i decided to see what it was all about...and i kinda get it.
I thought this was fun and entertaining. I didn't really take it too seriously, but I still enjoyed the story. I liked the steam and chemistry between Tamlin and Feyre and I enjoyed Rhysand's cunning and slick personality. I don't feel as invested into this series as some folks are (I'm not a diehard stan [yet????]), but, so far, I'm thoroughly entertained and that's enough for me to pick up book two!
(I listened to the audio version of this via Libby and the narration was pretty good!)
