The Woods, Vol. 4: Movie Night by James Tynion IV

3.0

The last volume I needed to re-read. Kept the rating the same this time around, the quality of the books seems to be going slowly downhill which is disappointing. I remember this being my least liked of all the ones I'd read. It feels like a lot of lead up happens but no actual plot moves forward. This and the previous volume also start a long time after the end of the volume before them, this one being a whole year, and it's left unexplained. Progress was made in building the city at the school and whatever, but big changes happen at the end of the third volume that don't get addressed until later, and even then it's in bits and pieces. Not the best possible execution, more confusing than suspenseful.
