I feel like this book was the start of a series with potential.
While I initially felt like the world building was fairly slow and vague, it did end up with more detail and interesting elements by time we got to the end. The cast was largely loveable, and I felt like the romance between Arwen and Kane was some of the strongest writing in the book.
I do still feel like there’s a lot that’s yet to be explored in both the world and the magic, to the point that I wish a little more had been done on that part in this book. It was an intriguing series start though and I’m curious about how Arwen will develop from here.
