The Unabridged Journals of Sylvia Plath
by Sylvia Plath
I admit: I couldn't finish the last 1/3 of the journals because I don't care what Sylvia Plath did every second of her days. She keeps going on and on about what she has done that day and I don't think anybody needs to read that. A short collection from her journals focusing on her ideas would suffice. There were some nice parts that I could relate to but, seriously, I don't need to read that she had coffee with Ted that day. Also, this collection literally destroyed my respect for Sylvia Plath because her most important problem seemed like "finding a husband" to me. I regret having read these.
