Pushing the Limits by Katie McGarry
4.0

I'm not really sure how I feel about this book. For one, I hadn't planned in reading it before I found a sample on my kindle and decided to buy the full book since it was only £1, and then I couldn't put it down - I actually stayed up until 5am to finish this book, something I don't do very often. I feel like I shouldn't like this book: it's definitely not my usual YA dystopian or paranormal book, but I really did like it, regardless. I found myself in tears more than once and, for me, that's usually the sign of an amazing book. But I didnt *love* it, which is why it's only getting 4 stars. It was just what I needed to read - and I felt kind of similar as to when I was reading Silence by Natasha Preston last summer; that too was an impulsive, last-second decision - but I don't think I'll be picking up the sequel anytime time soon. The story left off perfectly and, honestly, I don't want to risk it becoming anything less.
