I went into this skeptical because things I dislike started out strong, 1. FMC already in a relationship and 2. insta-lust. Then, all of a sudden, it was hitting all the romantasy vibes. Just a regular woman, not a teenager, a 30 year old human woman, and yes, she had a 1 night stand, but the relationship developed, and it was so angsty and had so much longing. So much chemistry! The side characters were interesting and essential. There was this mystery plot that kept me hooked, and the story wasn't just a love story. I absolutely loved this book and I thankful Moonlight Book Sub is printing it because that's the reason I picked it up. I'm excited to read the next book in the series and anything else the author writes.
