Goal by Alexandria House

5.0

I was completely hooked on this book from the beginning. Something about Alexandria House's writing had me not wanting to stop listening and it only intensified as I got to learn more about the main characters. I thought they both went through some great character development. Even with this being on the shorter side for audiobooks (in a good way) I felt like everything flowed nicely and there was not unrealistic timeline even if things did more fast for them. I appreciate how the more sensitive subjects of this book were handled and I felt that both Maleek and Nuri were strong characters on their own who only got better as their relationship developed. The few surprises in this book were great as well. The kids in this were great side characters as well I loved getting to see how they grew as characters as well while living with Maleek and Nuri. Overall, I just had the best time reading this and I will be recommending this to anyone who loves hockey romance!!! Excited to see where this series goes !
