This book was really, really good. I think it had a lot of important themes related to motherhood, however
I feel that Violet's behavior was wrongly used as a reason for the narrator's feelings on motherhood in the early years of motherhood. I get that this was a thriller, and it was a great one, but I feel like this had negative effects on normalizing the feelings the narrator was having after having Violet.
So, a star knocked off for that.
