Daisy Jones & The Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid

medium-paced
  • Plot- or character-driven? A mix
  • Loveable characters? It's complicated
  • Flaws of characters a main focus? It's complicated

Last year, I attempted to connect with "Daisy Jones and The Six" but couldn't because I found the narrative style uninteresting. However, I recently decided to give it another shot and ended up thinking, "How else could this have been narrated?" I fell in love with it and even annotated some beautiful quotes.

"Daisy Jones and The Six" is written as a series of interviews about the once-famous band, mysteriously disbanded. It took me some time to get used to the narrative style, but the story itself was beautiful, remarkable, and filled with unique quotes that captured my heart.
