The Language of Flowers by Vanessa Diffenbaugh

4.0

I thought this was a really touching story. Very heavy at times, very emotional but really well done.

It tells the story of Victoria, who after aging out of foster care retreats to her love of flowers to help her start a new life.

The character of Victoria is so well written- complex and believeable. The author really delved deep into the reasons behind Victorias sometimes aggressive and isolating behavior.

This was a pleasure to read!
