Dee’s Grade: A-
I ultimately enjoyed this book. It took a while to get there. The last half is when I felt the story cohesive and headed somewhere. The first half the tone was all over the place. I can love it for the last half and realized it could have benefited from cutting about a third from the beginning middle in my opinion.
I absolutely adore long books. The more pages the better but this story would have been perfect at about 300 pages.
