This is a decent lazy Sunday read.
The characters are sweet. The story feels new and fresh.
It relies a little to heavily on the miscommunication trope in the second part for my liking. However it is a debut novel so I wouldn't expect the writing to be perfect straight out of the gate.
Overall I did read it in a single sitting so it is a fun book.
