Ella Santos is kidnapped as a child and lived, later renamed Laine, who has a uncanny resemblance to Olivia who was also kidnapped—we think by the same man— and now to prove her innocence in the case she has to help the detective that was her childhood crush ever since he rescued her from that dingy basement over a decade ago.
5 ⭐️’s but only on a technicality ..I actually knew what was going to happen in the end but this had so many twists and turns it was so fun to read! I found myself gasping and turning the pages much faster with every chapter. I like how the main character and the reader got involved with solving the mystery
