I think the only reason this book wasn’t rated higher is because period pieces aren’t my fav genre. I gave it a try because I love the author and I do not regret it. It was cute and sweet with just the right amount of angst. I loved seeing the realization of both characters and how they came to accept themselves.

The parents knowing and having gone through similar things both shocked me and made me very happy. Shoutout to Mr. Montgomery fr.
