Did not finish book. Stopped at 26%.
This book series is such a disappointment. The author went so so hard on the trauma aspect that I have a hard time believing the FMC "growth". I have no idea how I'm supposed to believe this girl who was human tr*fficked for 10 years, who was with a deranged man who beat her for fun, and m*rdered other woman in front of her is okay with men who she literally just met choking her during s*x.
Then, when she ran because her crazy ex shows back up these guys act butt hurt?? She was literally beat with a bat within an inch of her life and fled to a different country because she was so scared of this guy and her new love interests ARE BUTT HURT SHE RAN?? THE AUDACITY, THE NERVE, THE F*CKING GUMPTION OF THESE MEN IS INFURIATING 😤😤😤
Hard pass. I honestly wish I could unread this shit. Willow deserves so much better than she's ever going to get with these clowns.
