The Iron King by Julie Kagawa

2.0

I liked the way the fairies were portrayed and how they mixed with the modern world. Puck is almost the only characters that I actually cared about in the book and he wasn’t present much.
I didn’t like the insta-love, even more since I found there wasn’t much character devolvement for Ash. We didn’t know much about him? He was just there and in love with Meghan after talking to her three times. Meghan’s development was all over the place. One minute she took a step forward and the next, she was doing another stupid action that went against the development she just had. Also, the pacing of the story was not good, in my opinion and the story was to easy to resolve.
I think I would have like this book more if I had read it when it first came out and it’s maybe a good book for people who really loved fae’s stories, but I was disappointed and I won’t continue with the series.
