The next book in Alexa Martin’s Mustangs series is even better than the first! This book revolves around Denver Mustangs wide receiver TK Moore and his high school sweetheart, Poppy Patterson. If you like second chance romances you will adore this story! Anyone who read Intercepted, the first book in the Mustangs series, will remember TK: he is young, really good at football, and so sweet. Unfortunately for him, that is not how Poppy remembers him… Poppy was in high school when she got pregnant with TK’s baby. She never went to college and has been (mostly) crushing it as a single mom ever since. Although she doesn’t love her job as a waitress at a strip club, she is able to make ends meet on her own and that is all that matters. Everything is going well until she runs into TK. Will these two be able to reconcile despite their differences? This book will have you laughing out loud one moment and on the edge of your seat the next! It is so heartfelt and it is impossible not to love TK and Poppy. The reader also gets to go back to feminist Denver bar HERS and meet some new member of the WAG club who will stick by Poppy though thick and thin.
