I LOVED this book. I was a little iffy when I started to read it after learning the main character was a stand-up comedian. I immediately thought it would ruin the character and possibly the entire story. But wow, I actually caught myself laughing and finding a lot of what was being said pretty funny! Not only was the story funny, the way the main character coped using comedy was heart-breaking (when she explained it as well as

her ex

). It also made so many great points about sexism the double-standard in the industry.
