Season of Love by Helena Greer

2.0

I was not a big fan of this one. I felt like the characters (Hannah, Miriam, and Noelle) kept having the same conversation: Will Miriam leave? At times, these conversations felt boring because I did not feel like they added anything to the plot of the characterization.
Also, I feel like this split POV did not give any insights into the characters since they were somehow able to reach each other's minds. I also did not like the way that abuse was used as a plot point leading up the the big reveal. Miriam's big traumatizing event felt unoriginal to me.
Tara was definitely my favorite character and I really want to see a sequel in which Tara gets to be with someone who loves her and treats her well. I probably will read the sequel with Hannah and Levi because I am a completionist.
I just wish I could have been reading Written in the Stars instead.
