The actual tactis/exercises involved can be useful, but I found it a bit difficult to read due to grievances with Stylistic choices. Overarchingly had the right idea, but as a marginalized person there was a great deal of ideological micro-aggressions that I believe can be chalked up to general differences, but still made it difficult/uncomfortable. I found some of their earlier segments/discussions regarding sexual assault to be triggering in the way they were conducted. Overall, useful whether you are polyam/open or not, but the sort of book where I think you might be better off skimming it for the Skills instead of the writing.
