Loved learning about the American Revolution through this historical fiction novel. The storyline was rich with adventure, romance, and camaraderie! I loved the sense of found family woven into this story. Shoutout to Azizat for the recommendation. I definitely wouldn't have picked this one up based on the description or cover page alone. Side note, why isn't Dominic's hair long on the cover page? Dominic LeVea, THE MAN THAT YOU ARE! That man was so down bad for Clare and I was eatinggg it up. Honestly surprised how much I truly enjoyed reading this book.
