Wow! Okay I started reading this book after I finished the vampire academy series. I liked Sydney when she appeared in that series too and Adrian, well who doesnt like him. My ship had always been Rose and Dimitri from the first book but I loved Adrian. So I was very happy She created a whole new series for Sydney and him. And yes I am happy that Adrian will find his love.
Another review after like 6 years.
I like this series slightly more than the VA because Sydney is less annoying of a main character. And also because of Adrian and their romance. I liked the pacing of this book. No part was really that boring. I also loved the addition of magic! It was an interesting plot line. Again why this series is better because there is more world building. The slow burn is also well paced not too fast and too slow. Overall GREAT fun easy read!
