The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid

2.0

Two stars doesn't feel fair because this book just really isn't my speed, fiction-wise. However, I will say, the author does a great job making Evelyn feel like a real person: flawed, passionate, selfish, committed, driven, hurt, etc. Monique is kind of boring as a character, and the wrap-up feels rushed and doesn't go as deep as the plot twist deserves. But the narrative structure is unique and works really well. It's not my style, but I also couldn't put it down. so bravo, Taylor Jenkins Reid, and I'm sorry for the 2-star review.
