I enjoyed the second book way better than the first. I felt like the first books was very slow character building. I still think this book could have been significantly shorter, but the plot and character growth entertained me more. I did think that it was a bit off putting how Shannon felt comfortable making sexual innuendos with Johnny and had banter with him at moments and others was too shy to even touch him. I will continue the series, but am more excited for Claire and Gibs book than Joey and Aoife’s.
