I HAVE FINALLY finished the series. I am DONE. wooo!



Derek and Sophias' story spanning the course of 7 books



Right off the bat I would like to say that I wasn't as connected with the characters in this book as I was with the previous 6. After binge reading the first 6, A Break of Day hadn't been released yet, and when it was I didn't feel up to it. So here we are a year later.

Overall this book was okay for me. It was a good conclusion to a good series and I'm glad it ended the way it did.

The only thing I can say that I didn't like was the rush ending and the spontaneous random ass wedding at the end for Vivienne and Xavier. ALSO, the whole breastfeeding thing. I did not believe for a second that sophia could do that after months of being turned into a vampire then back into a human. So that was random too and out of place. I would've liked to know more about what happened with the different realms and see everything wrap up but unfortunately I would have to read the rest of the series to find out. I'm just not up to it atm.
