The Tyranny of Faith by Richard Swan

4.25

To my surprised, the second book was even better than the first. With a lot more magic, characters developments, twists and revelations, I was really more invested in the story, and liked how it turns out.

The second book continue right where the first one ends. But the important difference is that there is a lot more things going on. Without saying too much, this book brings as much answers than it brings new questions.

There is also a lot more magical elements. While there was a taste of it on the first book, it really unfurled in the second. It was sometimes even a bit creepy, with some form of eldritch horror to it, which gave a creepy atmosphere.

I love the characters. Having a bit more development and background on their stories, was a good thing. They are all interesting in their own way, with different levels of complexity.

I love the turns of event toward the end, and I am excited to read the final installment of this amazing trilogy.
