This is a fun idea, but the rhymes are terrible. Here's an example, from the page about "crystal foxes" (which are actually named "vulptex/vulptices"):
For me, this lacks all the charm of better Star Wars picture books such as Chewie and the Porgs, The Mighty Chewbacca in the Forest of Fear, and, especially, Are You Scared, Darth Vader?
They're not very cuddly.It's not Dr. Seuss.
And they're not very soft.
They're better to see than to touch.
But when you hear the chime
Of their crystal fur ringing,
You won't mind that they're spiky—
At least, not much.
