Satisfying Ending

Overall this series was definitely unique. I'm impressed by the writer's building of the faery realm. It definitely stands alone amongst all the others that I've read about.

However I feel like the books lacked depth. There were quite a few things that could have been delved into deeper, that were either never addressed, or only very lightly addressed. For instance, at the beginning of the first book, Arrow hated Eldridge. During the entire series, we never learned what happened to his family, or how he got past his hatred. I found myself wishing that the books were longer so that the author could have gone deeper into the thoughts, feelings, and backgrounds of the characters.

The series was worth reading, and had the expected HEA ending, but unfortunately won't make my favorites list.
