Goddamn this was good. Perfect mix of adorable tropey romcom and serious topics.
I was going through this book just whispering “oh you beautiful idiots” to myself, which pretty much describes my journey reading it.
This has pretty much the best discussion on mental health I’ve ever read and it did that without getting too heavy or hopeless. It was such a healthy view on the topic and warmed my heart.
And the ace representation? Absolutely glorious. I loved the conversations about it and it was just so wonderful to see the diversity of the ace experience in here.
These super tropey concepts, like here having a bachelor falling in love with his producer, is just everything I want. It’s exactly what I like and it was executed so unbelievably well in this novel!
I can only conclude with: I absolutely loved it!
