My favorite Rebecca Serle, so far. Hated One Italian Summer, liked In Five Years, and really enjoyed this one!!

At under 300 pages, this one is short and sweet and reads so fast (always a perk for me). Rebecca Serle is known for her little injection of magic in her books, at least the 3 of them I’ve read, and I kind of love it. Magical Realism is my jam! In EXPIRATION DATES the magical element gave me so much to think about and ponder. How would your life and relationahips be altered if you knew the outcomes before they started? ⁣

I enjoyed this story a lot. The characters were all lovable, some of them a little too much (the super super extra nice guy type character isn’t my fave). I found myself torn between feelings and who I was rooting for in the book and I liked that. Keep me thinking and guessing! All the LA details were fun, even found my favorite place for lunch mentioned within, it made me drool. Wish I lived closer than 2 states away so I could stop by for a grilled cheese anytime I wanted. Thats a little beside the point to this whole review thing. 😋 ⁣

Anyway… I liked this one! ⁣
