An Experiment in Love by Hilary Mantel

3.0

Solid book. I actually liked the pacing being a bit slow. I was in no hurry to get to the 'action' or whatever. The charm of this book in particular was just in the concise and interesting way it was written, in the occasional reflection. Mantel captures very vividly what it was to be a girl in school post-war. The book doesn't have a lot of staying power or anything revolutionary to say. I suppose the ending may stick with me as well as a general mood. This was just a general good read.
