the *only* reason i didn’t give it 5 stars (OR METAPHORICALLY HIGHER!) is because a lot of the dream-sequence puzzle-solving code-cracking in the middle kinda lost me a tiny bit. otherwise this is the novel i will tell people is my favourite and that they really should read for the rest of my life.
