Gibson's Legacy by K.L. Shandwick

4.0

This was my first read by K L Shandwick so I went in with no expectations other than what sounded like a good story.

Kicking off in the past and getting some background on Gibson & Chloe, it didn't take long to draw me in. I warmed to both characters straight away then they parted ways.

Jumping to the present a few years later I would say that it is a bit of a DV trigger, but Shandwick writes with understanding. Gibson & Chloe unintentionally cross paths again and the tension between them slowly builds.

I love Gibson's character - he's a mix of cheeky and serious, a bit brooding too. I did find Chloe to be a bit annoying at time with her hot/cold switch, BUT I did get why. The chemistry between them was palpable and that phone sex scene- WOW!

Being a rock star romance, there was an even mix of both and it was cool to be on the rock star scene, living in the moment with Gibson and his band.

I'm looking forward to reading the sequel!
