Great world building. Vivid descriptions. Magic. A daring adventure. What’s not to love? I thoroughly enjoyed Beasts of Prey. My favorite parts took place in the jungle. The author did well really bringing it to life and capturing the dangers within. Koffi and Ekon were both likable characters, each with their own strengths. I enjoyed seeing them recognize and appreciate one another’s strengths as their bond grew. Now I just need to wait til book 2 so I can know what happens next!
