This is now one of my favorite books of all time. It was so hard to put it down. It's amazing... full of gaming references (which I got the majority of) and 80's references (which I didn't get the majority of), with believable characters that you can't help but care about. There were sections that felt overly exposition-heavy, but the content interested me enough that it ended up not being a problem. The idea of a world where everyone lives, works, and goes to school in a virtual reality MMORPG was fascinating to me! And it was so much fun seeing it from the eyes of someone who lived and breathed it every day, where it was home. I admit it made me feel less like a weirdo for my high school and college days where all I wanted to do was go back home and play games all day. Oh who am I kidding, I'm still like that...
