Unlovable by Sherry Gammon

4.0

Unlovable was an emotional, romantic and heartbreaking story, I have read this book many times, it’s a book that I can always go back to and never get sick of reading it.

I love Maggie’s character, she is strong, passionate and kind whose only wish is in life is for her mother to love her. Her inner thoughts in the book are always a mixture of heartbreaking to funny.
Seth Prescott is a undercover Met agent in the local high school of port fare, he is working to find a meth dealer that is leaving bodies all over town. Although Seth is an undercover agent, he is young and totally swoon worthy.

Maggie and Seth meet when booker (seths friend and boss) ask’s Seth to get close to Maggie for a few reasons, her mother and her lifestyle, her neighbours and living area and also because Maggie is skinny, has dark rimmed eyes and her jauntining bones make her look like the poster child of a Herion chick as they call it, but they couldn’t be further from the truth.

I love brooker in this story (even tho he’s not a main character) he is funny, Whitty, and sarcastic.

The dresser brothers that Seth is unknowingly looking for are sick and twisted, when the sicker and more twisted one sets his sights on Maggie he becomes obsessed with her.

This story is told from Seth’s and Maggie’s pov , but also has some from the Dresser brothers.
Overall I loved this book, it’s one of my top favourites, and i always go back to it when im lost and cant find a book to read.

Unlovable is a story full of misery, heart-ache, thrilling and suspenseful , horror, romance, scarcasm and murder it’s absolutely great…
