This book is not as good as the first, but it’s still a nice read. It has one of my least favorite tropes: a conflict that could easily be resolved by one conversation. Also, Jane makes a LOT of foolish decisions, which becomes frustrating after a while. Still, it ties the first and third book together, and there are some characters introduced who I really love.
